In 1998 the New York holographic artist Rudi Berkhout invited Ward to work together with him on a commission for the Bank of America. The project was an artwork for the lobby of one of the bank's offices in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Their idea was to make a triptych from painted panels with twelve holograms. While Rudi was busy with the holography, Ward concentrated on the overall design and the painting of the panels.
In 2004 they received the commission for an artwork for the lobby of TLS in Amersfoort: five panels with nine holograms. A last artwork, “Pandora”, consists of one panel with three holograms which is still in their possession.
Alas, an end came to their collaboration in 2008 with the sudden death of Rudi.
